Mel Melo Dominguez is an artist, muralist from Los Angeles who has lived in Tucson since 2007. Mel enjoys using creativity and activism to create a difference throughout the Tucson community.

The Promega Summer Art Showcase presents. A historical perspective on Arizona Chicano Muralism. The exhibit features ten artists representing CALACA. A cultural center in Tempe, Arizona, that has the mission of advancing cultural arts through community initiatives. The showcase will promote social-cultural awareness and historical enrichment using muralism, an artistic movement aimed at engaging and unifying communities.
